About Andrea
Andrea has been an athlete all her life and has always been dedicated to health, movement, and an active lifestyle. She played five years of college volleyball at the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, where she began developing her passion for training and working with high-performance athletes.
After continuing her education at the University of Regina, Andrea spent six years working with High Intensity Interval Training and later transitioned into exercise therapy, offering healthy weights programs for sedentary individuals and coordinating occupational rehabilitation programs. She eventually returned home to the Kootenays, where she continues her work as a Kinesiologist with Kootenay Therapy Center.
Clinical Focus & Approach
Andrea designs individualized Exercise Therapy and Physical Reconditioning programs to help clients restore strength, balance, and endurance. Her approach is rooted in functional movement and progressive training, ensuring each program meets the client’s physical capacity and personal goals.
Her background in occupational rehabilitation also supports those returning to work after injury or illness, making her an integral part of Kootenay Therapy Center’s multidisciplinary care model
Andrea enjoys maintaining her own active lifestyle through sport, recreation, and outdoor exploration.
