Clinical Focus & Approach
Hand Therapy has become the primary focus of Kari’s clinical practice, including custom splinting, post-injury, and post-operative care for the elbow, wrist, and hand. Her approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of function and recovery, helping clients regain strength and mobility after surgery or injury.
Kari’s advanced training in Acupuncture and IMS allows her to complement her manual therapy with precise, evidence-based treatment techniques that address pain and muscle dysfunction.
Kari keeps an active mountain lifestyle with her husband Carson, a secondary school teacher, and their two boys. She enjoys golfing, skiing, and hiking around the beautiful peaks of the East Kootenays.
